Good Food, Great Conversations, and Community Connection at Bites with the VPSS

College life is about more than just hitting the books—it’s about building a genuine sense of belonging and keeping the lines of communication wide open between students and campus leadership. Last evening, we officially kicked off our brand-new initiative, "Bites with the VPSS," and it was a wonderful success!
Held in the AC Parking Lot, students dropped by to grab some incredible Mini Esquites prepared by our very own Chef Joe Amaya. More importantly, the gathering successfully created a relaxed, informal space where students could connect directly with Dr. Clementina Macias, our Vice President of Student Services.
Not all students know who their leadership team is right off the bat, which is why Dr. Macias loves meeting everyone face-to-face. With no appointments, formal meetings, or presentations required, students simply dropped in whenever it was convenient to chat, catch up, and share what was on their mind.
Throughout the event, students shared valuable feedback about their student experiences, asked questions about campus resources, and enjoyed some great laughs with peers and campus leaders.
